Verizon LG G3 is getting Marshmallow right now

Well this is certainly a late post for me.  Ok it’s technically early.  It’s 1:27 a.m.

You know what else is early?  Owners of the LG G3 on Verizon Wireless are apparently receiving that sweet delicious Marshmallow update!

Time to celebrate!

While browsing Reddit just before bed, I came across a user’s post in the unofficially official LG G3 subreddit that woke me right back up.  Apparently user, Jrdnram_98, received his Marshmallow 6.0 update over the air from Verizon around 6 p.m CST.

So that’s about it for this post!  If you happen to still be rocking the VS985 variant of the G3 on Verizon Wireless, check to see if you have a software update waiting for you in your settings!

In case you need a reminder:

1. Open Settings app
2. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list
3. Click on System Updates
4. Click “Check for new software update”
5. Be patient!

It is in the process of rolling out so if you don’t get it immediately just sit tight.

You can also force the update by visiting Verizon’s site here and following the instructions.
