HTC 10 Verizon preorders start April 29
Verizon Wireless customers eagerly waiting to get their hands on the new HTC 10 have to wait just ten more days. On April 29, 2016 HTC’s flagship device will be in retail stores, but not for purchase.
Customers will be able to “test drive” working models of the HTC 10 in stores before they make a preorder. They will not be able to walk out of the store with a purchased phone.
Instead you can walk out of a Verizon Wireless store with a receipt showing that you preordered the 10 and are expecting to receive your phone in early May.
No information is provided as to when preorders on Verizon will start to ship.
Being able to try out the 10 before purchasing may be a good thing for both Verizon and consumers.
It helps customers make a more informed decision instead of an irrational preorder because of online hype. This in turn helps out Verizon not have to deal with the hassle of online returns which also benefits the consumer.
